Individual Position: The individual is seated with their pronated hand placed on the table.

Practitioner Position:The practitioner using their thumb and index finger makes contact with the lateral aspect of the individual’s ring and index fingers.

Description of Muscle Test:The individual is requested to abduct their index and ring fingers from midline against the practitioner’s resistance.
