Muscle Test for Flexor Digitorum Longus

 

Individual Position: The individual is seated with their knees flexed and their lower legs hanging off the edge of the table.

Practitioner Position:The practitioner is seated with their hand placed on the plantar surface of the individual’s toes.

Description of Muscle Test:The individual is requested to plantar flex their toes against the practitioner’s resistance.
